Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy covers the only payments made to Thozhilly: worker membership fees (₹49 for the first 3 months, ₹30 per further 3 months, inclusive of all taxes), processed via Cashfree Payments. Payments between hirers and workers for jobs are made directly and are outside Thozhilly.
When you get a full refund
- Identity verification fails: if Aadhaar verification cannot be completed after the permitted retries, the membership fee is refunded in full.
- Duplicate payment: if the same membership is charged twice (e.g. a payment retry), the duplicate is refunded in full.
- Charged but not activated: if money left your account but your membership did not activate and our records confirm it, we refund or activate — your choice.
When fees are not refundable
- Once your listing is live, the membership period has started and the fee for that period is not refundable.
- Renewal fees follow the same rule from the moment the renewed period activates.
- Suspension for violating the Terms of Service does not create a refund right.
How to request
Email support@thozhilly.com from your registered email within 7 days of the payment, with the order id shown in Account → Membership & payments (it looks like thoz_…). Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days via Cashfree.
Cancellation
Memberships are one-time payments with no auto-debit, so there is nothing to cancel — simply don’t renew. Your listing hides when the period ends and your account remains free to use as a hirer.
