Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Thozhilly app and website (Tamil Nadu, India). By using Thozhilly you accept these terms.

1. What Thozhilly is (and isn’t)

• Thozhilly is a discovery platform: it helps hirers find local workers, talk to them directly, and agree a price transparently.
• Work is contracted directly between hirer and worker. Thozhilly is not a party to that contract, does not employ workers, does not set prices, and no payment for jobs flows through the platform.
• We verify worker identity via Aadhaar, but we do not guarantee workmanship, pricing, availability or outcomes. Judge skill and agree terms directly.

2. Accounts

• Sign-in is with a Google or Apple account; you must be 18+. One person, one account — one sign-in identity, one verified phone number, one Aadhaar.
• Workers must verify a phone number and complete Aadhaar verification before a listing goes live. If your profile name differs from your Aadhaar name, the difference is flagged on your listing.
• You are responsible for activity on your account and for the accuracy of your listing.

3. Worker membership fees

• Listing requires a membership: ₹49 for the first 3 months, then ₹30 for each further 3 months, inclusive of all applicable taxes.
• Payments are one-time (no auto-debit). When a membership lapses, the listing is hidden until renewal.
• Fees are payable through Cashfree Payments. Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable use

• No false listings, impersonation, or misuse of another person’s identity documents.
• No fake requests or harassment. Workers may report fake leads; repeated reports from distinct workers lead to suspension.
• No scraping, automated access, or attempts to disrupt the service. We apply technical rate limits and may suspend accounts that abuse them.
• Ratings may only reflect genuinely completed jobs.

5. Content

You own the content you post (listings, reviews) and grant us a licence to display it within the service. We may remove content that violates these terms or the law.

6. Liability

Thozhilly provides the platform “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for disputes, losses or damages arising from work arranged between users. Our aggregate liability is limited to the membership fees you paid in the preceding 3 months.

7. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time via support@thozhilly.com.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India; courts at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction.
